About CubeSense.
About Me.
CubeSense started as a simple idea.
In the summer of 2023, I decided to start taking speedcubing seriously. So, I went out to find the best way to practice
algorithms and train. However, I just couldn’t find what I was hoping for. Eventually, I came across two great websites:
SpeedCubeDB and CubeDesk. I was impressed by the quantity of algorithms on SpeedCubeDB and I loved CubeDesk's
modern UI and elegant design. However, they still just didn’t feel quite right. So I thought to myself... what if I make my
own app? I know how to code, how hard could it be? So I set out to do just that: Take inspiration from the modern UI of
CubeDesk and the powerful algorithm training of SpeedCubeDB and combine them into one ultimate speedcubing app.
CubeSense.
Turns out it's pretty hard to make an app. I've easily put hundreds of hours into it, and it shows, as CubeSense has just
over 40000 lines of code and took over 8 months of my free time. I was dedicated to completing the whole project
all on my own, and I did.
Now, a little about me. I'm currently a senior at Purdue University studying Computer Engineering. After graduation,
I plan to climb the corporate ladder in the tech industry. If you happen to be hiring in technology, feel free to reach
